We swooned over him and then again…! And this film had two of him!

Song: Kabhi Khud Pe

Film: Hum Dono(1961)

Singer: Mohammed Rafi

Lyricist: Sahir

Music Director: Jaidev

Director: Amarjeet

Producer: Brij Mohan, Dev Anand

Cast: Dev Anand, Nanda, Sadhna, Lalita Pawar, Jagirdar, Rashid Khan, Leela Chitnis, Jagdish Raaj, Prabhu Dayal, Wasi Khan, Bhagwan Sinha, Ravikant, Prem Sagar, Ghulam Hussain

Tidbit from Vijay Aher:  After this film’s music was hit, Navketan films decided to give every alternate film to Jaidev and SD Burman. After SD heard this he pressurized Navketan by saying he’ll do something to himself. Hence Jaidev was denied films afterwards from Navketan. Jaidev Sahab was unmarried and died in Mumbai without any home of himself. “Gharunda”, “Gaban”…are truly masterpieces of him.
